Kathleen C. High
Kathleen currently serves as the Executive Ministry Director for Berean Baptist Church of Raleigh, N.C. Her duties and responsibilities include oversight of all church ministries and administration. She is also a member of the Diaconate Board.
Kathleen received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also matriculated at Shaw University Divinity School. Kathleen was bestowed an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Calvary Midwest Bible College and Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. She also received numerous certificates in the study of mental health practices from Solutions Training Institute at Quinco Behavioral Health Systems in Columbus, Indiana where she was a clinician.
Kathleen was also a Social Worker for Pitt County Department of Social Services in Greenville, N.C. and worked with Habitat for Humanity in Toledo, Ohio. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Rocky Mount, N.C. and on the Board of Trustees for UNISON Mental Health Center. Kathleen is also a Life Member of the NAACP and member of NAMI.
Kathleen’s other interests include international travel, reading novels, horseback riding, and being a community volunteer.
