What is the Compassion Fund?Â
The Compassion Fund is a limited financial fund, made available by application to anyone struggling financially due to unforeseen circumstances. The money is granted as a gift, and repayment is not expected. However, if you are blessed in the future and would like to help someone else, you may repay the gift. It will be used to help someone else in need. Â
Your request will be reviewed and you will be contacted if more information is needed. A failure to provide requested information will forfeit your eligibility for benevolence. Upon a decision you will be notified by telephone. If your request is approved it may take up 3-7 days to receive funding. You are only eligible to receive assistance once every six months. The decision made by Berean Community Center or its representatives regarding financial assistance is final and there is no appeal.Â
